Antelope Heaven - Larry Zabel - fine art giclee print

Our first NEWSLETTER, WOW, exciting for us, hopefully for you too.

Setting up this site  has been challenging, frustrating, fun and very educational. In the future we will be featuring our ARTISTS in a get to know them style. Mountain Creative Concepts, originally began and still is a support company assisting artists in promotion, marketing and proper display of their creations. About 3 years ago we began developing and creating the concept of an online gallery that is both affordable and allows a more visible venue for our artists.

We are fortunate to reside in the beautiful Madison Valley of Montana.  We are surrounded by breath taking views, which can be seen in some of the work of the artists we represent like the view of the Valley seen in Larry Zabel's Antelope Paradise above. We hope to include artists from the far reaches of the country to share their work with you, along with us in the future.

Art is beauty, enjoy your trip through our site.

BENEFIT AUCTION FOR THE MADISON RIVER FOUNDATION
In the next few months we will be featuring an online auction of an original acrylic painting  by Larry Zabel, accomplished western and wildlife artist.  Mr. Zabel is a Montana cowboy artist, hunter & fisherman, also a Lifetime Member of the Madison River Foundation, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, The Safari Club International & is a Board Member of the Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks Foundation and  was chosen as a panelist for the National Endowment for the Arts.
Larry Zabel - painter of the American West      Larry has been drawing and painting his whole life, even dabbled in a little taxidermy, starting in the single digits of age.  Mr. Zabel is best known for portraying the vast, expansive spaces of the west along with the inhabitants whether 4 legged or 2.  His composition, color, depth and feel for each piece is both beautiful and stunning.  Kathy and I have both had the privilege to watch Larry compose some of his work.  His process is in itself a study in the thought and preparation that is involved in the creation of a masterpiece.
Although much of his current painting is by commission, Mr. Zabel still generously donates many works to support non-profit organizations, whether they support wildlife, conservation, the arts, educational, or medicine.
Larry works from 3 studios, mainly at his residence located in the beautiful Madison Valley of Montana, but also beach side in Morro Bay California or as artist in residence at the Washington Canoe Club located in Washington D.C.. These varied locations only further the expanse of his creativity, ideas and subjects.
Larry's paintings are displayed all over this country as well as internationally.  Larry has  received numerous awards in the art field and has shown his works in such prestigious places as the Salmagundi Club, the Hollyhock House, the White House, the Smithsonian, the Pentagon, the US Navy’s Historical Collection and the offices of Senator Conrad Burns & Senator Max Bacus in Washington D.C.
Here is another Zabel, one of our favorites:
